Talk Back
We recently asked followers of our Facebook page to explain the greatest change to the UI campus since their student days.. Here's what they said:

Love what they have done to Kinnick Stadium. It is amazing! We were at the stadium for a wedding, and—wow—what a view from the reception area!
Cathy Madden Day, 71BA

The newest dorm [Mary Louise Petersen] is an awesome addition. I was a desk clerk back in the day and stayed in UI housing all four years, so to see [this] made me so happy when I came for Homecoming last year.
Tanisha Bess, 05BA

Having the bookstore and food court back in the basement of the Iowa Memorial Union. It was under repair when I was attending Iowa because of the 2008 flood.
Erik Carlson, 12BA

The College of Public Health.
Lindsay Bodkins Toenges, 06BA, 08MPH

The new Voxman Music Building!
Ginny Darnell Driscoll, 06MA

The Adler Building, which houses the UI School of Journalism and Mass Communication. When I was in J-School, our classes were spread throughout five different buildings. The offices were in an old building on the edge of campus, where it was hot and dank!
Abbie Fedeler Sanderson, 04BA

The new Campus Recreation and Wellness Center. Finally a pool capable of holding championship competitions!
Alex Boyce, 05BBA

Hancher Auditorium, with its glorious run of outstanding performances—followed by the devastating flood that ruined the building—and now [its] rebirth.
Gary McWilliams, 68BA
